[For high school students] About the Institute
Prof. Suzuki belongs to both the
Institute for Regional Future Co-Creation
and the College of Engineering, and supervises research in both.
We develop business-support technologies that combine "real-world data × machine learning × artificial intelligence".
If there is anything we can help with, please feel free to contact us. Tomoya Suzuki
We held a training session for municipalities in Ibaraki Prefecture on using the "Population Decline Countermeasure Simulator".
Thank you very much to everyone who participated. Please feel free to contact us for individual consultations.
Masahiro Kubo (M2) received the "Student Excellent Paper Award"
at the SIG on Financial Informatics, Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence.

This experiment tests the hypothesis that, by using ChatGPT, "combinatorial optimization problems" can be solved quickly even for a "qualitative evaluation target" such as the taste of food.
ChatGPT was used to "evaluate" combinations of monja ingredients, and the final combination was obtained by "Bayesian optimization". We believe the same concept can also be applied to "aroma blending".
